Niagara Parkway is a scenic boulevard running parallel to the Niagara River on the Canadian side. It starts at Fort Erie in the south and ends at Niagara-on-the-Lake in the north. Niagara Parkway is 55 km (34 mi) long.

Old Fort Erie: This historic fort was the first fort built in Ontario by the British. The original fort built in 1764 was located on the edge of Niagara River below the present fort. It was the site of the bloodiest battlefield in Canadian history when the United States declared war in 1812. You can take a tour and see war re-enactments and musket demonstrations.
Floral Showhouse: This greenhouse has an impressive collection of orchids, lilies, succulents and tropical plants. There are 8 annual flower shows. See the rose garden and Artist’s Garden with ponds and gardens.
Table Rock Welcome Centre: It is an observation complex where you can stand at the brink of Horseshoe Falls. Journey behind the Falls, Niagara’s Fury, gift shops, a food court, and Elements on the Falls Restaurant are all located here.
Dufferin Islands: A quiet, secluded park spread over 10 acres, it has many man-made islands connected by footpaths and bridges. It is close to Horseshoe Falls. There are bird-feeding stations. It is home to the Winter Festival of Lights from November to January every year, when lighting displays are put up on the islands. Entry is free.
Queen Victoria Park: Bounded by the Niagara Gorge, this park has beautiful gardens and a collection of plants from all over the world. See over 500,000 daffodils in bloom in spring. There are also magnolia trees, tulips, and other blooms. In winter, you can see chrysanthemums. Admire the view of American Falls from the park.
Oakes Garden Theatre: Located directly across from American Falls, it features a curved pergola overlooking an amphitheatre. Shaded lily ponds and beautiful gardens are a tranquil escape from the tourist area.
Hornblower Niagara Cruises: The entry to the iconic boat ride docks is located on Niagara Parkway.
White-Water Walk: Take an elevator down to the Niagara Gorge, and then walk along a boardwalk at the very edge of Niagara River to view the raging Niagara Rapids. This seasonal attraction is open April-mid November (weather permitting). It is wheelchair accessible except for 2 small viewing areas which can only be accessed by stairs.
Whirlpool Aero Car: This cable car ride over Niagara Whirlpool has been operating since 1916. This antique cable car ride high above the Niagara River gives spectacular views of the Niagara Whirlpool.
Niagara Helicopters: Niagara Helicopters offer tours (10-15 minutes) upto Niagara Falls and back. It is located near Niagara Whirlpool along Niagara Parkway.
Niagara Glen: The Niagara Glen is a nature reserve with many hiking trails and beautiful forest area. It is located near Niagara Whirlpool.
Botanical Gardens and Butterfly Conservatory: Admire gardens spread over 40 hectares. Butterfly Conservatory, located in Botanical Gardens, has thousands of colourful butterflies flying freely in a climate-controlled tropical rainforest setting.
Floral Clock: The Floral Clock is a 40-foot diameter clock along Niagara Parkway. Thousands of carpet-bedding plants are arranged to form a beautiful pattern on its clock face.
Queenston Heights Park: Located in Queenston, this park was the site of the Battle of Queenston Heights during the War of 1812. Brock Monument in the park is dedicated to Major General Sir Isaac Brock who died of injuries in the battle.
The Living Water Wayside Chapel: This tiny chapel is the world’s smallest chapel. You have to bend to enter through its door.
Niagara-on-the-Lake: This town by Lake Ontario is famous for its 19th century buildings and houses. It also has many vineyards and wineries. Many wineries offer tours and wine tasting. So, head out to this picturesque town and go on a winery tour.
