Port Dalhousie Segway Tour 90 minutes
In 1862, Port Dalhousie was incorporated into a village and in 1961 was merged with St. Catharines. Port Dalhousie was the final point of the first 3 Welland Canals until 1932, with the opening of the 4th Canal, which proceeded through Port Weller.
The Segway tour will begin at Jaycee Gardens Park, which is one of St. Catharine's largest parks and contains many beautifully landscaped flowers, grass and trees.
We continue through Rennie Park, home to the Spirit of St. Catharines and the Heavy Eight Sculptures. The tour then travels around the Portwith its terrific lakeviews.
A final stop is made by Lakeside park with its beautiful beach and antique carousel, which was carved between 1898 and 1905 in Brooklyn, New York. It is one of 9 antique hand carved carousels still operating in Canada!
After waivers are signed, Segway Training begins.
Ride through Jaycee Gardens and Royal Henley Park before crossing the bridge to Rennie Park
We step off the Segway to cross the road and get back on and travel around the Marina.
Take a quick break and then travel back to visit the Lakeside Park with its popular beach and Carousel (open only during the summer/fall months).
After crossing back to Rennie Park, we ride back to the starting point without stopping.
