Relax aboard one of Gray Line’s comfortable coaches and enjoy the view of all 3 waterfalls from across the Niagara River as your tour bus drives along Niagara Parkway to Table Rock Centre. Here, you can stand next to the brink of the Horseshoe Falls and watch the roaring Niagara River plunge down 53 metres.
Next, experience Journey Behind the Falls, also at Table Rock Centre. It offers up-close views of Horseshoe Falls from behind and at its base. Visitors descend about 150 feet by elevator and then through tunnels carved into bedrock to reach the foot of the Horseshoe Falls.
While making your way through the tunnel, you can see the falls from behind through 2 viewing portals cut into rock. The view from the observation deck at the foot of the falls is breathtaking. Rain ponchos will be provided because the cascading water creates a lot of mist that will get you wet.
Board the bus once again for a drive along the Great Gorge from where you can view the Niagara Whirlpool.
Next is a visit to the School of Horticulture/Botanical Gardens and Floral Clock. The Botanical Gardens has 99 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens with rare trees and plants from all over the world.
After sundown, you will be taken to the observation deck atop Skylon Tower for a view of the falls illuminated in many colors by LED spotlights.
