Follow your local tour guide and cycle on bicycle trails and back roads lined on either side by vineyards and orchards. The tour is along mostly flat terrain so you can relax and enjoy the bicycle ride.
Make a stop at 3 award-winning VQA wineries and taste some of their wines. An in-depth tour will be conducted at one of the wineries, where you can have a peek at their wine making process and take a stroll in the vineyard. Relax and enjoy a wine tasting session over a plate of local cheeses and preserves.
You can also purchase some wine bottles to take home. The tour provides a complimentary pickup of your wine purchases.
While cycling from one vineyard to the next, your guide will give you an insight into the region’s history and unique climate. Enjoy the sweeping views of grape vines, trees and parkland as you cycle by.
By the end of the tour, you will have tasted a minimum of 14 wines, including red, white, late harvest and Icewines. The wineries visited change each season, generally you will most likely to visit any 3 wineries from the following list: Reif Estate Winery, Riverview Cellars, Marynissen Estates, Caroline Cellars, Pillitteri Estates, Rancourt Winery, Inniskillin Estates, Jackson-Triggs Winery, Reimer Vineyards, or Frogpond Farm Organic Winery.
