Taste selected wines from the Reserve Winemaster’s Series accompanied by various gourmet cheese samples and artisan breads or crackers on this winery and cellar tour consisting of a group of up to 20 people.

Main Features:

  • Professional guide.
  • Snacks and beverages provided.
  • Small group tour.

Your tour will take you to Konzelmann Estate Winery, Niagara’s exclusive lakeshore winery, located on the shores of Lake Ontario.

The winery was started by a restaurateur named Friederich Konzelmann in the small German town of Uhlbach near the turn of the 19th century.  He produced house wines for his restaurants and officially released his first vintage to the public in 1893.

The Konzelmann family immigrated to Canada by 1984, and started the present-day winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

After arriving at the winery, explore and experience the lakefront vineyards and winery production facilities.  A  knowledgeable wine consultant will walk you through a wine tasting seminar in the winery’s cellar.

You will taste the varying flavors of selected wines from the Reserve Winemaster’s Series, including an award winning Icewine.  There will be an array of various gourmet cheese samples and artisan breads or crackers to cleanse the palate between wine tastings.

The wine cellar where the tour will be conducted is downstairs (no elevator).
