Pop into intimate restaurants and sample some local fare such as handmade spanakopita, artisanal prosciutto, grilled nan with roasted vegetables and goat cheese or homemade apple pie. The menu changes seasonal because most of the ingredients are locally sourced.
The walking tour is a roughly 2 to 2.5-mile (3- to 4 km) loop. By the end of your tour, you will have had a comprehensive overview of the region and feel satiated. The tour finishes up a block or so from where it started, so you can easily make your way back to your hotel.
