Niagara Falls tours by departure city

Wherever you start in the Greater Toronto Area, we have a tour with convenient pickup. Choose your city to see every option:

For a detailed look at the tours from each city, see our departure-city guide. Pickup details vary by tour: some include door-to-door pickup and others use set pickup points, and each tour page lists the exact locations.

Attractions worth adding to your tour

Many of our tours let you add an attraction or run an itinerary with free time at the Falls. These are the ones our guests ask about most. Prices are 2026 adult prices in Canadian dollars before tax, from the official sites. Always check the attraction’s own site before you go.

A tourist looking at Niagara Falls

Journey Behind the Falls

The most famous way to see the Falls up close. You descend 125 feet (about 38 metres) by elevator and walk through tunnels carved into the bedrock to observation decks and portals right beside the thundering water of the Horseshoe Falls. It is open all year and adult admission is $33 ($21.50 for children 3–12). Niagara Parks is redeveloping the attraction in phases: the first, with the original 1903 tunnel and a new year-round viewing platform, is planned for summer 2027, and the second, a new lower observation deck, for summer 2028. Check the Niagara Parks page for current access.

The Tunnel at Niagara Parks Power Station

A personal favourite. A glass elevator takes you 180 feet (55 metres) underground to a 2,200-foot (670-metre) tunnel that once carried used water from the first major power plant on the Canadian side back to the Niagara River. You walk it to an open platform by the river, right next to the Horseshoe Falls. A guided tour covers the history, and a Tesla coil demonstration ends each tour. General admission was listed at $33, and the Premium Tour at $53. In the evenings the station reopens for the “Currents” light-and-sound show; check the Niagara Parks page for times. Our underground power station and tunnel tour is one way to see it.

WildPlay Zipline to the Falls

For thrill-seekers. Four parallel ziplines carry you about 670 metres (2,200 feet) towards the Falls, high above the gorge. Prices start from $69.99 plus HST and the minimum age is 7. It is a seasonal attraction, so check the dates on the Niagara Parks page. See our zipline adventure tour.

Niagara City Cruises (Voyage to the Falls)

The classic 20-minute boat ride to the base of the Horseshoe Falls, formerly run as Hornblower. The 2026 season opened on May 1. In 2026 the adult fare was listed from about $47.95 plus HST. Check the Niagara City Cruises site for current dates and prices.

Butterfly Conservatory

A calm, green break for nature lovers: over 3,000 butterflies fly freely among tropical plants. Adult admission is $25 and children 3–12 are $16.50. See the Niagara Parks page for hours.

The Butterfly Conservatory

Niagara Takes Flight

Ontario’s first flying theatre opened at Table Rock in August 2025. You sit in tilting seats in front of a 17-metre domed screen for a short aerial “flight” over the Niagara region, with galleries about the region’s history. The whole experience takes about 35 minutes and adult admission is $33. Niagara Takes Flight.

Skylon Tower

The Skylon’s observation deck stands 775 feet (about 236 metres) above the base of the gorge, with a “Ride to the Top” ticket at $18 for adults, or a Day & Night Pass at $22. The revolving dining room is a favourite for dinner with a view. Skylon Tower tickets.

Niagara Falls Pass

Niagara Parks sells multi-attraction passes each season. In 2026 the Niagara Falls Pass came in three levels (Classic $89, Plus $109, Premium $129) and covered attractions such as Journey Behind the Falls, the Butterfly Conservatory, the Power Station and Niagara Takes Flight, plus transit. The 2026 passes ended on November 1, so check niagaraparks.com for 2027 passes and prices once they are announced.

Evening tours and the fireworks

Seeing the Falls lit up at night is a highlight. The Falls are illuminated every night from dusk, and fireworks run nightly in summer. In 2026 the summer fireworks ran nightly from May 15 to October 12 at 10:00 PM. In winter there are fireworks on selected nights during the Winter Festival of Lights, which runs from November 14, 2026 to January 10, 2027. See our full fireworks schedule and best viewing spots. Our day and evening tour is timed to see the Falls lit up. Note that evening tours return to the Greater Toronto Area after 10 PM.

See Niagara Falls from the air

Helicopter tours fly daily from 9 AM to sunset, weather permitting. The standard flight follows the Niagara River past the Whirlpool Rapids and the Rainbow Bridge to the Falls. On a clear day you can see the Toronto skyline to the north and Lake Erie to the south. See our helicopter tour.

Fallsview dining

Fallsview restaurants offer breakfast, lunch and dinner with views that change from day to night and from season to season. See Niagara Falls Tourism’s dining guide to browse restaurants and make reservations.
