It is entertaining and has breathtaking photography of the Niagara Falls.
Learn of its formation in the Ice Age, the Native Americans who settled here, its discover y by the French explorer Father Louis Hennepin, the wars fought between the French and British, the daredevils who challenged the fury of the Falls, the first hydroelectric power plant built by Nikola Tesla on the Niagara River and much more.
The film also details the stunts performed over the Niagara Falls, from the Great Blondini who did a tightrope walk across the Niagara Gorge in 1859 to Annie Edson Taylor, who was the first person to take a plunge over the falls in a barrel in 1901.
IMAX Movie Ticket and Niagara Daredevil Exhibit
This combination allows you to see the IMAX movie on Niagara Falls and the Daredevil Exhibit located within the theatre.
The Daredevil Exhibit chronicles the stories of the 16 adventure seekers who challenged the Niagara Falls by plunging over the waterfalls in barrels and other contraptions. It features news clippings, videos, stories and fates of the Niagara Daredevils, and the world’s only collection of the original daredevil barrels, spheres and other contraptions that have challenged the mighty falls.
Skylon Tower, Daredevil Exhibit & IMAX ticket
This upgrade allows admission to the Skylon Tower in addition to the IMAX Niagara Falls movie and Daredevil Exhibit ticket. The landmark Skylon Tower is an observation tower overlooking both the Horseshoe and American Falls. The 52-second ride in the outside mounted glass enclosed elevator to the tower’s observation deck at the top is itself exhilarating. The observation deck provides views of the Niagara River and the waterfalls from about 500 feet above ground.
