Founded in Niagara-on-the-Lake in 1984, after being founded in 1893 outside of Stuttgart, Germany.The Konzelmann family crafts, owns, and operates VQA wines that are 100% farmed and produced in Niagara. Tasting Boutique, Tours, Private Experiences, Cheese Platters, Full Production Facility, Barrel Cellar, Corporate Events, Special Event Dinners/Luncheons, Weddings, Lakefront Vineyard with a view of Toronto, CN Tower, Rogers Centre. 4. Reif Estate Winery
One of the original family wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake, founded in 1982 by The Reif Family and subsequently taken over by Klaus W. Reif. Reif’s 125-acre vineyard was established in 1977 and is located in the Niagara River sub-appellation, which is ideal for sun-loving grape types. Today, the vineyard is used to manufacture wines. The river refines a lengthy growing season since air currents prevent frosts in the early spring and late fall. Our vineyard is situated in the warmest sub-appellation in Ontario, which is perfect for making full-bodied, rich wines. Some of Canada’s oldest vinifera plants may be found on our farm, which is advantageous for producers in colder regions like Ontario because mature vines ripen earlier. You will taste the “terroir” in our wines since they also produce wines that represent the taste of this refion. Enjoy 3 to 4 samples here!
