Legend has it that the infamous House of Frankenstein was created out of jealousy from the brilliant electrical achievements of Dr. Frankenstein’s colleague Nikola Tesla.
Frankenstein’s plan was to use his monster to destroy Nikola Tesla’s hydroelectricity plant in Niagara Falls but the doctor was apprehended and exiled below the waters of the Niagara Falls for eternity.
Over time other monsters and foul creatures were sent to Dr. Frankenstein’s makeshift prison under the Falls including; the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jekyll and Hyde and even the most famous of the undead, Dracula.
Dr. Frankenstein’s luck changed when a blackout in 1984 shutoff power to the prison. Dr. Frankenstein and his collection of monsters and oddities from around the world escaped and resettled on Clifton Hill creating The House of Frankenstein.
Visitors can see all of the frightening spectacles that dwell in The House of Frankenstein, it is fun for the whole family.
When entering The House of Frankenstein please heed the sign at the door stating:
” FOOLISH MORTALS BEWARE: Here in the House of Frankenstein there are many ‘monsters’…creatures who lurk in the shadows, not living-and yet…not dead! See for yourself, the abominations that move and talk and who will make you SCREAM.”
Thе House оf Frаnkеnѕtеin and Burger King are beside each other but have separate entrances. Thе Hоuѕе of Frankenstein iѕ an intense, immersive, and intеrасtivе еxреriеnсе inѕidе a hаuntеd building.
Once you climb the thirteen haunted steps there’s no turning back! When you enter the Haunted building it will be dark, very dark, the uneven floors of the building, creepy music and spooky voices add to the eerie experience.
Beware of the live Frankenstein that will follow you through the building and jump out at you when you least expect it!
There are many twists and turns in the building, try not to get lost in the House оf Frаnkеnѕtеin! You can control the level of fear to a certain extent, there are buttons you can press that will animate mummies and corpses.
The entire trek through The House of Frankenstein takes around 15 minutes….if you don’t get lost….
