The Main Aviary has a multilevel rainforest where exotic colorful birds fly freely. It is home to a diverse collection of over 400 birds representing nearly 80 species from all over the world. The pathways are wheelchair accessible, allowing everyone an opportunity to explore the rainforest.
At the Small Bird Aviary you can feed and interact with lorikeets at Lorikeet Landing.
This unforgettable experience allows the lorikeet birds (a species of parrot) to land on you as you feed them nectar. Their bright and colorful plumage makes them irresistible, especially to children.
See the nighttime creatures of the rainforest in the Night Jungle, which is kept dark during the day so you can see these animals at their liveliest. See owls, bats, chameleons, etc.
The reptile encounter room has many snakes, lizards, chameleons, some of which are really creepy and scary.
There is also an ancient Javanese house from the 1800s within the rainforest. It is a masterpiece made entirely of hand carved solid teak.
Bird Kingdom has discovery areas for kids, plus a fun-filled scavenger hunt. Check the schedules for lorikeet feedings and bat feedings!
Stop by the Macaw Market on your way out for souvenirs, toys, art pieces and home and garden goods.
