Location: Niagara Falls, Canada
Duration: 5 hours (approx.)
Tour the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls in a small group and accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, who will provide the history and other interesting facts about the sights you visit.
This tour is limited to just 6 people so that you can cover all the places in a relaxed manner and have the personal attention of your guide.
Main Features
- Journey behind the Falls
- Floral Clock
- Hornblower Cruise (seasonal)
- Butterfly Conservatory and Niagara Fury (when Hornblower does not operate)
- Viewing time at the waterfalls
- Skylon Tower
Your exciting tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in a minivan. Head out to Skylon Tower, your first stop on the tour. On the way, your guide will narrate the history of the city and landmarks you pass by.
Ride up to the observation deck of Skylon Tower which, at about 160 metres above the ground, provides spectacular views of the city skyline, the Niagara River, and all the 3 waterfalls – American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls.
From Skylon Tower, head out to the brink of the Horseshoe Falls and spend about 20 minutes marvelling and taking photos of this geological wonder of the world.
Next, experience Journey behind the Falls, a series of tunnels that takes to an observation deck near the foot of the Horseshoe Falls.
During summer and autumn months, you will be taken on the Hornblower boat cruise that gets you close to Horseshoe Falls. The spray from the cascading water will get you wet, and the deafening noise of the massive volume of water will leave you in wonder. During the winter and spring months, the Hornblower cruise will be replaced by the Butterfly Conservatory and Niagara Fury.
After the cruise, the tour will head to the power plant and then on to Whirlpool Rapids observation deck, both of which offer amazing photography opportunities.
Your last stop before hotel drop-off will be at the Floral Clock on Niagara Parkway, a giant clock with a face that is made up of beautiful carpet bedding plants.
Note: Food and drinks can be bought (not included in tour) from food stands that are present everywhere.
