Fireworks At Falls For The Year 2022 – Weekend Fireworks on Victoria Day

Niagara Parks presents a breathtaking show of Canada’s longest-running fireworks season against the backdrop of the beautiful falls. Visitors were wowed by the Falls Fireworks Series at Niagara Parks, which featured shows over both the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. From May to October, a total of 144 shows are scheduled, giving you plenty of opportunities to experience the amazing fireworks display while taking in the fascinating views of the Falls! The length of each show will last up to 5 minutes max.

Fireworks start on Victoria Day (May 20, 2022, Friday) and end by Thanksgiving Monday (October 10, 2022) 10 PM.

The Virgil Stampede

A group of neighbors banded together fifty-four years ago to organise Victoria Day fireworks. The Virgil Stampede celebrates today with rides, games, exciting events, and delicious food – every year we complement something new, and this year will be even better than before.

The projected Pump Track model will benefit from the Stampede’s net proceeds this year.

This has been scheduled from May 21st to May 23, 2022, at Virgil Sports Park (Niagara-On-The-Lake), 1565 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil, ON Canada. The tickets for adults cost 5$ and children below 10 years have free entry and admission is free for all on Sunday, May 22, 2022.

The Niagara Falls Illumination

Learn about the history of the Niagara Falls illumination, which began in 1860 with the usage of 200 Bengel lights to illuminate the gigantic falls in honour of the visit of the Prince of Wales. They’ve kept the tradition going with beautiful lights that alter depending on the occasion with three separate zones of light shine. The lights will be turned on for Victoria Day this year at 10 – 10:15 on May 21st.

How, Where and When: The American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls are transformed into a spectacular show of flowing colours every evening beginning at sunset with the help of special lights located in the Illumination Tower, near to Queen Victoria Place.

Niagara Falls at Night – Falls Illumination

A special illumination is a part of the evening illumination of the Falls, with a 5-minute colourful display running three times every half hour, commencing at 9.30 PM each evening and ending at 10.30 PM, 11.30 PM and 12.30 AM.

Visitors of all ages and families can view the illumination free of cost.
