This tour consists of an airplane tour and bus tour. The airplane tour is a 30 minute airplane tour over the Niagara Falls and surrounding Niagara region. The bus tour will visit the Niagara Falls and other famous Niagara Falls attractions such as the Butterfly Conservatory, Botanical Gardens, and Floral Clock. Finally, unwind at the end of the day with wine tasting at a local Niagara-on-the-Lake Winery!
Your 10 hour day trip to Niagara Falls will begin at 7:00 a.m. from Chelsea Hotel, Toronto. Board the air conditioned Wi-Fi equipped bus, settle into your seat and enjoy the scenery as the bus makes the 75-minute journey to Niagara Falls. The bus will be equipped with chargers for Android, Blackberry and iPhone.
After alighting from the bus at Niagara, you’ll be taken on a 30-minute plane tour of the Niagara region. You’ll be flown as close to the Niagara Falls as possible. The other sights that you can view from the secure comfort of your chartered plane are the Welland Canal, Fort Niagara and the historic Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This narrated tour will be an excellent introduction to the region’s history and the rich heritage of its monuments.
After the airplane tour, your next stop will be to see the fabulous views of the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, the Horseshoe Falls and the roaring Niagara River. Table Rock is the next stop, where you can stand at the very edge and witness the thundering water as it cascades over the brink of the Horseshoe Falls.
Next, make your way through man-made tunnels behind the falls with a beautiful view of the cascading falls. The Niagara’s Fury is an interactive 4D show about the creation of the falls. Your next stop will be the Butterfly Conservatory, a tropical paradise housing beautiful butterflies of different species.
At 4:00 p.m., you will be taken on a 1-hour winery and wine tasting tour at one of Niagara’s oldest wineries on the shores of Lake Ontario. Enjoy a sip of ice wine while at the winery (Canada is a pioneer of this dessert wine). A guided tour will show you the various stages of wine production. After the end of the tour, it will be time for your return trip to Chelsea Hotel, Toronto at 5:30pm.
