    Snowshoe Through Vancouver's Winter Wonderland

We started our brief but picturesque drive high into the mountains from downtown Vancouver. After arriving at the lodge, we provide a brief equipment demonstration before setting off on our snowshoeing expedition. Slide on your snowshoes and join us as we venture into the placid splendor of an organic winter recreation area. As we travel through the forest, take in the clean, crisp winter air and feel the powder crunch underfoot. We discover throughout the journey about the rich culture of the Squamish First Nation, who have thrived in this untamed and harsh environment for hundreds of years. Our route skirts the ancient giants of the old growth forest and veers off the well-traveled trail. Savor the calm and quiet of this winter wonderland and discover a world apart from the packed ski slopes. In the snowy woodland, we take a short break and eat some food and a warming beverage, such as coffee, tea, or chocolate.
