With a rich history rooted in fruit farming, Riverview Farms found its transformation into a vineyard known as Riverview Farms in the 1980s. The vineyard began its journey with the introduction of Gewurztraminer vines in 1992, followed by plantings of Vidal Blanc in 1993 and Cabernet Sauvignon in 1998. Today, the property boasts approximately 23 acres of vineyards, divided into 18 distinct blocks, with an average density of 900 vines per acre. At Riverview Farms, our focus lies on cool-climate white varietals from France and Germany, such as Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Gewurztraminer. Additionally, we cultivate traditional Bordeaux varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. This diverse selection allows us to create wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the region.
