The boat departs from a calm area of the Niagara River, close to the Rainbow Bridge, and takes its passengers past the American and Bridal Veil Falls before entering the intense spray inside the curve of the Horseshoe Falls, also known as the Canadian Falls.
You can use an elevator to descend to the Niagara River's level at the base of the American Falls from the region between the American and Canadian Falls. Visitors can stroll right up to the base of the Bridal Veil Falls as water is gushing down on them and running beneath a succession of oak decks and platforms.
