The beautiful quick service restaurant features murals of the original Catarct House wait staff from the mid-1800s. Restaurant menus are inspired by the Cataract House, which stood between 1825 and 1945 and served as a final stop on the Underground Railroad before freedom seekers crossed into Canada. A recipe created by celebrity chef Bobby Anderson as an homage to what guests would find on the Cataract House menu during this era is Dorothy Jean's Fried Chicken.
