Lock 7 Segway Tour is a 2-hour tour beginning at Lock 3 in St. Catharines and travels all the way to the Lock 7 Museum and viewing complex (approximately 9 km, or 6 miles).
The tour stops at the Twin/Flight Locks, where the ships "Climb the Mountain". There are also stops along the "Murals of Thorold", painted in 2006 by Shawn Reimer and at the Lock 7 Museum and Observation Centre.
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours
After waivers are signed, Segway Training begins.
Ride along the Welland Canal Parkway on a dedicated path, making numerous stops to learn more about the history of the Canal, its construction and current use.
Take a short break to observe the Twin/Flight Locks where “The ships climb the mountain”.
Visit Lock 6 and discover the Murals of Thorold describing the rich history of the city
Take another break at the Lock 7 Museum (open May to September) and tour the museum and its old artifacts and take a pictures of the famous Kissing Rock.
Ride down the escarpment and back to the Museum.
Visit the Memorial of the Fallen Workers museum before heading back to the Parking Lot.

Meeting Location: Lock 3 Museum in St Catharines - 1932 Welland Canals Parkway, St. Catharines, ON L2R 7K6.
We meet at the end of the main parking lot, you will see a trailer with a picture of a Segway on it.
Please arrive 10 to 15 min early to sign the waiver, and receive an individual training, so the tour can start on time.

To change or cancel Niagara Falls Segway Tours please call or email us. Customers will receive a FULL REFUND if they call at least 24 hours ahead to cancel.
If a Segway Tour is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance NO REFUND will be provided.
There is a minimum age limit of 12 years old minimum and each waiver must be signed by an adult. Each person must weigh between 100 and 250lbs.Is it easy to ride a Segway?
Yes! It takes upto 10 minutes to learn how to balance.Do I need to wear special clothing?
Please wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes (no high heels). A helmet will be provided and is mandatory.
The tour consists of 4 people maximum and we change our speed to suit the group each participant. We also take breaks if necessary so people can stretch their legs.What happens if it rains?
We will provide ponchos and continue the tour.Will we see any ships?
There is no guarantee that you will see any ships. 3000 vessels use the Welland Canal every year and the canal is open 24/7.
